b) German!

c) I like your forthrightness and meticulous honesty.

d)Taking a walk, and getting beards.

f) I like the portrait - it looks like it was taken in a studio by a professional?

g)You don't have to repost, since I ganked it from you to begin with.
That picture was taken by Paul one morning while he was at his desk and I was sitting on the bed with Chloe the cat. It's just a very lucky shot!
I'll bite.

(Sorry about not producing the anticipated mind-blowing, though...)
a) I think we encountered each other in a med or caltech related community. This datum is lost among the control theory and digital signal processing currently suffusing my gyri. Oh, and AMCAS. Pray for me.

b) Funny hat day. And Mafia of Dubious Extraction.

c) I like that even though you tend to be pessimistic, you have a self-awareness about your reactions that allows you to plan around them and look to the future.

d) Funny hat day at HSC, watching you compose music during the lecture.

e) Why soccer?

f) I guess I like the elephant.. But the neuron with the staff is nice too.

g) tag.
I've never had an elephant user pic... I assume you mean Petey?

As for soccer... could be that it's the closest thing to universal among humans. Or it could be the aesthetic, on a number of levels: an individual player dancing with the ball, the geometry of a team in motion, the sense of rhythm in the game. Maybe it's the spontaneity or the independence of the players - no timeouts and no way for coaches to micromanage once the game starts. Or it could be a consequence of growing up overseas, and I might be just making excuses. ;-P Take your pick.
Yay! Meme!
a) It seemed like the right thing to do. We really don't see enough of each other.

b) Uh. Orange.

c) I like your curiosity, ambition, and kindness.

d) Caladan IX. That was pretty outrageous.

e) I know you identify as bi, but have you ever been in a LTR with a woman? (I've only ever known you with B.)

f) Gosh... I'm not that well acquainted with your userpics. I might have to come back to this one. Gir is ok, I guess.

g) tag.
The acronym suggesting part of my brain says that LTR means "long term relationship". Let me know if I'm incorrect about that! And no, I have not been in a long term relationship with a woman. Brad and I have been in this relationship thing for the most of our adult lives. Interestingly, I find that I crush or lust with ease when it comes to women, but being struck by a man is so rare that it takes me by surprise. "Oh, did I just think that?" For that reason, Brad thinks he's sort of special. And he sort of is. ;)
oh yeah, I'm a 'tard for not actually leaving bait here before I gank'd the meme over to my LJ...
